Mary Del Nero - September 2025
As a native of Arizona, Mary Del Nero has a special love for the land and its people, especially the youth. Even from a young age, she has sketched the southwest landscape emphasizing its delicate flowers against the harsh landscape. Working on commissions in her home studio or teaching high school, she brings joy to her viewers with this continuous theme that saturates her tiles with color and primitive carving.
About the Gallery:
Huntington University Arizona has launched the Wright Gallery, a designated space to display visual art on campus. The mission of the gallery is to support the Design and DMA programs at HUAZ. The gallery fulfills this mission by showcasing student work, providing opportunities to interact with professional artists, and curating shows that will inspire and encourage each visitor.
